Update AT&T HTC One to Android v4.3 Next Week

Earlier this Year in February the Taiwanese company HTC launched HTC One running on Android v1.2 Jelly Bean OS. Now the coming week can bring the update for the HTC One. The President of HTC Mr. Mackenzie has revealed the HTC One to get a software upgrade to v4.3 OS, only for the users who have AT&T HTC One.

From the Tweet made by Mr. Mackenzie, HTC One is more likely to get an upgrade in software font i.e. AT&T HTC is to updated to Android v4.3 OS. Users possessing AT&T HTC One here is good news for you. You can now update your Smartphone to latest Android v4.3. However, there is no particular date announced for the release of the Update.

The February released handset HTC One launched with 4.2 OS now upgradable to v4.3 is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.7GHz. It sports 4.7 inch Corning Gorilla Glass 2 touchscreen with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels covered with Sense 5 UI. Memory-wise, the smartphone boards 2GB of RAM and internal storage of either 32GB or 64GB. The prices vary with the storage options.

The HTC One comes with 4MP primary UltraPixel camera for photography and video recording and 2.1MP front facing camera for video calling or selfies. Connectivity-wise, the smartphone comes with Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G LTE, EDGE, GPRS, Infrared, USB, etc. It packs a 2300 mAh battery. It also integrates Sensors like Accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, etc. It embeds Adreno 320 GPU.

The update will be rolling out next week; no particular date has been confirmed yet. AT&T avails HTC One for $199.99 or $299.99 varying with the storage options. It is also rumored that Verizon and T-Mobiles will also roll out the software update later at the end of October or next month.
